Gail Foster Embt
Gail Embt is a parent and a pioneer in the transformative journey of families grappling with the challenges of substance use. As a certified CRAFT clinician and the innovative mind behind the Inner Circle model at MindClub America, Gail has dedicated her career to turning despair into hope and chaos into order.
Her approach goes beyond traditional methods, it empowers parents to move from anxiety and stress to a place of confidence and calm, mastering the art of navigating the complexities of their child's substance use. Through the Parent Inner Circle, Gail offers everything families need to master CRAFT and Invitation To Change ( ITC) skills. The comprehensive program is not just workshops and support but a lifeline—deep dives, practice sessions, and priority coaching access. Her first parenting book, CRAFTing Recovery, is filled with tips and examples of using CRAFT skills to strengthen a parent’s connections with their children and unlock their child’s motivation to stop substance use.
Her work is backed by compelling data, showing that 77% of treatment-resistant individuals consider treatment when their families employ CRAFT methodologies—a testament to its effectiveness across diverse demographics. Gail has helped families get their children into treatment, strengthen the bond with their children, reduce their child’s substance use, and move from anxiety and fear to calm and confidence.
Before her current role, Gail honed her expertise with the Partnership to End Addiction, leading online support groups and providing tailored parent coaching. Her passion for prevention also led her to develop Break The Vape, an innovative parent program designed to combat vaping among youth, complementing school-based interventions nationwide.
Her work not only reflects her professional dedication but also her personal commitment to fostering healthier, stronger family dynamics. She spends her free time playing with her Australian shepherd Scout, and enjoying the power of community through her tennis.
