Kristin Blumenstein

Kristin has been with DACI since February 2022 and is honored to assume the role of Executive Director in September 2025. She remains steadfast in her commitment to advancing the coalition’s ongoing work while thoughtfully pursuing strategic growth and new opportunities for the organization’s future. Kristin is proud to serve alongside the coalition’s dedicated members and DACI’s Board of Directors in furthering the organization’s mission to inform, educate, and advocate.

Drawing from her lived experience, Kristin is deeply committed to fostering a safe and healthy community for the residents of Iredell County. She recognizes the significant impact of DACI’s work through the collaborative efforts of its partner organizations and is dedicated to strengthening these relationships. She is also focused on identifying innovative approaches to support sustainable, community-level change through shared ideas, resources, and partnerships.

Kristin has 8+ years experience in the field of substance use. During her time at DACI, she has remained committed to professional development, including her graduation from the National Coalition Academy in January 2023. She earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2025. She looks forward to applying the knowledge and skills gained to effectively lead DACI in her new capacity.
